The restrictions for debtors may include foreign trips and the driving ban.
The Ministry of Social Policy told that it plans to set limits on foreign trips and driving for Ukrainians, who have arrears on the Unified Social Tax, Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Nikolai Shambir said during interview with 112 Ukraine.
“It is planned to set certain limits in respect of foreign trips, driving for those, who have arrears on the Unified Social Tax”, Shambir noted.
When asked what the situation is with replenishment of the Pension Fund, the Deputy Minister of Social Policy replied:
“We have its deficit, and for the next year, it grows. But this is the planned growth, because we planned to increase pensions. The first pension indexation for the norm, stipulated by the law - it is clear that for the first year, it will be more of a financial burden”, Nikola Shambir said.
“For what amount we cannot say; we will be able to find it out in mid-February. Because of that, we will have recalculation from March 1. In respect of funds, the proceeds increase, the deficit of the Pension Fund increased. This is exactly what will be the source for these pensions”, Shambir noted.
