In Ukraine (excluding the temporary territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city) the inflation rate was 2% in January 2015 compared to 1.9% in December 2015, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports, with reference to the data from the National Statistics Service of Ukraine.
In January 2015, the National Employment Service registered 524.4 thousand jobless people (compared to 512.2 thousand people a month ago), with 415.0 thousand out of them obtaining unemployment insurance benefits.
Around 305.8 thousand unemployed are urban dwellers, 218.6 thousand people –rural residents.
Meantime, the average unemployment benefit in January 2015 was 1 252 thousand hryvnias, exceeding by 20 hryvnias that in December 2014.
