The Bank can help conduct the reforms
The World Bank Group stands ready to support the reforms that will be conducted in Ukraine, so gives the credit in 2014 amounting up to 3 bln dollars, the statement made public on the web site of this institution says.
The statement also says that the Group expressed its commitment to further support the people of Ukraine after receiving the request for financial aid from the transitional government of Ukraine.
«We stand ready to continue supporting the people of Ukraine in this challenging times and hope that the situation in the country will stabilize in the near future, - President of the World Bank Group Jim Yong Kim said. – We are continuing to prepare the projects and ready to help the government to conduct the reforms required for returning Ukraine to the path to strong growth».
