In Dnepropetrovsk region the chief investigator was caught at bribery.
The captain demanded three thousand US dollars for the diversion of criminal proceeding.
SSSU together with prosecutor’s office, military prosecutor’s office and police internal security exposed the chief investigator of Novomoskovskii Department of Chief Administration in Dnpropetrovsk region for bribery, SSSU’s press-service reports.
The captain demanded three thousand US dollars from the local citizen for the diversion of the criminal proceeding in regard to this son, who hurt the victim.
The security officials apprehended the exactor in the city, while receiving a part of the bribe, amounting to $2,500.
The criminal proceeding in terms of part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was initiated. The prompt investigative actions on finding other possible facts of extracting bribes by the chief investigator are being continuing.
Previously the official of the State Security Service of Ukraine together with representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office caught the first deputy prosecutor of one of district centers of Cherkassy region at extracting a bribe.
