Bankers state about the necessity of creation of all European Ministry of Finance.
In their opinion, this will help restore the economic balance in the EU.
Governors of central banks of FRG and France Jens Weidmann and Villeroy de Galhau require reforming of euro area. In their joint statement, published on Monday, February 8, in Süddeutsche Zeitung, Weidmann and de Galhau spoke in favor of the fact that EU member countries considerably delegate their rights and authorities to all European level, Correspondent.net reports.
“Greater integration is the obvious method for restoration of confidence inside the European community”, the bankers state.
As per their opinion, in light of worsening of financial standing and economic imbalance Europe is definitely at the crossroads. In order to overcome crisis situation it is required to create the common ministry of finance and efficient and less “fragmented” all European administration as well as political authority, which will take political decisions.
“These new institutions could take care of recovering the balance between responsibility and control”, - governors of central banks write.
At the beginning of the week the meeting of Ministers of Economy and Finance of France and Germany should be convened in Paris.
