The National Bank of Ukraine issued the license for the right of provision of encashment services to O-Mega company, UNIAN reports.
As reported on the regulator’s site, O-Mega became the fourth CIT (Cash-in-Transit) company, which obtained such license together with CIT Security, Ukrainian Encashment Service and First Encashment Company.
As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine provided a new concept of organization of cash circulation, which is based on transferring some functions of the regulator in regions to other market players – Cash-in-Transit (CIT) banks and companies.
The new model, used in such countries, as United Kingdom, Brazil, Holland, Finland and Sweden, will allow decreasing the expenditure on the cash flow, develop the competitive market of encashment services and decrease the share of cash circulation in favor of cashless. The regulator issued the first license of CIT company for providing encashment services to banks in December 2016.
